Father's Day

Father's Day is fast approaching.

I found this tool box on another web site while surfing one day, unfortunately I can't remember the web site. But I thought it was rather cool for Father's Day. I made a card to match it.

The card stock was Riding Hood Red and the stamps were Occasional Greetings and Totally Tools. The papers were some I had in my paper stash.

While I was on the Father's Day card making run I also made this card using some of the papers from the Urban Garden paper pack and the Occasional Greetings stamps.

Masculine cards are one of the hardest cards to get ideas for, but both of these turned out well. I was pleased with the effect.

Parisian Breeze Papers

It has been a good week for me to be able to catch up on some card making.

Wee Courtney has been off school this week with the dreaded flu, so between Bruce and I, we have been spending some time at home with her. On my days at home I have managed to get some time in the craft room while she has been resting.

My order arrived last week so I had a great time using the new papers and stamps. It sure feels like Christmas when an order arrives. I just love unpacking all the goodies.

I love the new Parisian Breeze papers. I make this card using a selection of these papers and the Best Yet Hostess Gift stamp set, the oval and circle scallop punch and the scallop edge punch. I inked the edges with Chocolate Chip.

Happy Birthday

Wow, it has sure been a busy month, hense not many blogs or card making happening. August is the month for birthdays in our house, so it seems to be all go. I finally bought myself a Cuttle Bug so have been enjoying trying to master its use.

I made a birthday card using the Happy Birthday embossing plate. Great fun to use and I am pleased with the result. I have not used any Stamping Up product on this card though.

Tree Trimmings Stamp Set

This is such a lovely stamp set.

Tree Trimmings stamp set is found in our new Spring Mini Catalogue.

I have taken a new approach on a Christmas card and used not traditional Christmas colours. This card still looks acceptional.

I have used Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze card stock and the papers were from the Urban Garden Designer Paper Series.

The inks were Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze.

Scrapbook pages

It has been a busy couple of weeks, hence my lack of blogs. Have been working on a small scrapbook album of my 2 lovely girls, Ashleigh and Courtney. These are a great size to work on, quick and easier.

I have used chocolate chip card stock and papers from the simply scrappin' set - Sweet Nothings.
