Crayon Resist

I have been trying my hand at crayon resist cards this week. It was a great technique to play around with.

I made this card using Old Olive and Lovely Lilac card stock. I used a variety of stamps and sponged using Pink Passion, Old Olive and Lovely Lilac inks.

I have stamped a sentiment from the Hostess Gift Set - Best Yet, and punched out a circle using the 1 3/8 " circle punch and the scallop circle punch.

Xmas Flip Album

While surfing the net one day I came across this wonderful Xmas Flip Album. It has been made out of 1/2 of the Simply Scrappin' I Wish pack.

It was certainly a wonderful project to work on, but it did take a few hours to make.

This project will make a wonderful gift for someone. There are spaces to add your own photos or let the lucky gift holder add their own.

I would love to work on another flip album and use another of the Simply Scrappin' kits. There are a few there would like to choose but which one first.

The wee album is full of surprises. The pages seem to keep on coming. Above is an aerial view to show you where the pages are placed.
