Seeing Spots

Happy New Year to you all.

I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year.

Time has just slipped by, it is hard to believe Christmas has come and gone. I am relieved it is all over as the Christmas period is such a busy time at work for Bruce and myself.

We had my husbands Aunty staying with us about 4 weeks over the Christmas break. I introduced May to card making a couple of years ago and it was great having her back with us again and being able to spend time together making cards.

We both bought the stamp set "Seeing Spots" and then proceeded to sit down and come up with some different variations with the set.

For the first card I stamped randomly with Basic Black ink on Whisper White card stock and layered it onto Basis Black card. I then decorated it with black ribbon and punched using the 1 3/8 " circle and scallop circle punch. The black and white card was so simple but yet really effective.

The next card was using Old Olive and Chocolate chip ink on Whisper White card stock. I adhered the white onto Chocolate Chip card then mounted it onto Old Olive card and decorated with chocolate chip ribbon.

"Seeing Spots" stamp set is a simple design stamp set but achieves such great effective results.

Wow, Debbie - they're gorgeous cards. I've bought this set but haven't yet mounted it; you've given me loads of inspiration! :-)
